Restaurants were closed for so many months here in Airdrie, Alberta but we are SO glad they are back so we can enjoy the local food & support the local businesses.
Food.
It brings us together.
It connects us like nothing else.
It allows us to show love to others.
Food.
It can trigger a favorite memory.
It helps us create new memories.
It opens up new worlds.
I love spending time in the kitchen with my kids.
We laugh.
We play.
We experiment.
We create.
We connect.
Have you ever thought about how much time we spend together eating? A lot of memories are created around food and around the dining room table. We are surrounded by food and for the most part, we carry on with our lives. Often forgetting the impact that a meal can have. The kitchen is one of the most important rooms in your home. It is about so much more than food. It is about connection, memories and growing up.
How many times have you gone out with friends and laughed the night away at your favourite restaurant?
How many times have you sat around your dining room table, surrounded by your loved ones, eating a meal that your own hands created?
Food is the ingredient that binds us together. Unknown Author
THE EXPERIENCE MATTERS
As you have read so far, there is more to eating than the food itself. It is about the experience that you have. I want to share three of my favourite Airdrie restaurants with you.
Airdrie is full of AMAZING places to eat but these three stand out to me for different reasons. I want to share with you these three restaurants that my team and I have been loving lately. They all offer different experiences. Let’s take a little tour around Airdrie and stop at these three restaurants.
1| Moody’s Mediterranean. Located in Cooper’s Town Promenade, Moody’s offers an experience like no other. With its beautiful and bright interior, it instantly welcomes you to come and enjoy your amazing meal. The best part is, it has a stunning patio where you can enjoy your food and your company. And did you know that the patio is pet-friendly?!
The things we are loving about Moody’s.
The portion sizes. No matter what your appetite size is, you will walk away feeling satisfied. Great prices for the amount of food that you get.
My kids are loving the different family platters that are available. There are three to choose from. Kebab family platter, seafood family platter and the veggie family platter. You will NOT be disappointed in whichever platter that you choose to enjoy. Hey, why not get all 3?!?!?!
Moody’s is the perfect spot in Airdrie to take a client, to treat yourself to lunch or to take your family to. Hands down the best Mediterranean food in Airdrie.
2| Original Joe’s. Are you looking for a place to take your team to celebrate together? Oj’s has an amazing patio where you can do just that!! Their patio is absolutely gorgeous and a great way to celebrate with your team, host team meetings and even host client meetings.
It is summer in Canada and that means drinks on a patio every day of the week. Oj’s gives you a chance to enjoy the summer sun and delicious food. Every day they offer different specials for you to choose from. Whether you like wine or beer or other drinks, they have you covered.
Enjoy an appetizer and drink while you get to know your clients on a more intimate level.
3| Ricky’s All Day Grill. Are you looking for a place where you can escape to work or have a quiet meeting? Ricky’s is the place that you will want to head to. It is perfect to host meetings where you need it to be quieter and more intimate. It is perfect to take your laptop to and get some much-needed work done. It is perfect for a coffee date with your client.
The ambience at Ricky’s is more laid back and relaxed. It gives you a place where you can work in peace or truly get to know someone without feeling the need to talk over others in the restaurant. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, Ricky’s menu offers something for everyone. And did you know that breakfast is served until 4 pm?!?!
For different reasons, those are the three restaurants that my team and I are currently raving about. Whether you want to treat your team, meet and get to know a new client or take your family out, these restaurants each offer a unique and different experience.
I would love to hear what your favourite Airdrie restaurant is and why. Let’s shout out to these businesses who, for the last year, have struggled more than any other industry should. Show me your favourites!!
